the pack created by opsconsole contains watcher group and website and it uses webapplication perspective data source discovery how do we go ahed and create custom discovery to discover watcher nodes based on this DS.

I am trying to reduce the efforts by writing web app monitoring in opsconsole and editing its xml as per my needs but seems it is taking more time than saving me some hours. :)
thanx

Check the account you using to schedule the task. Go to the server that has the scheduled task and try to run the scheduled task. Do you get an error code? If so what is it?

You can already schedule subscriptions in the product. All you need to do is set the schedule. Does that not provide what you are looking for?

I am having an issue similar to Stephen Weber. I run the Remote Scheduler as my server administrator account, it successfully creates the task on the management server, the task either does not run, or runs successfully but does not place the target server in maintenance mode. If I copy the actions with arguments to powershell, the server goes into maintenance mode as intended. I did notice that you must have a comment in the "comment:" section or the script will fail. Error message displayed below:

of course i'd like a way to schedule the enabling and disabling of an individual subscription, and of course i'd like to use the "alerts generated after the subscription is enabled" option. sigh.
