A browser-based operations console for System Center Operations Manager. Alert triage and investigation, inline Health Explorer, object and group exploration, live and historic performance charts, maintenance windows, tasks, rules, monitors and overrides, dashboards, notification subscriptions and administration — running alongside SCOM, with no additional software on monitored computers and no separate database server.

Installing it
- Copy the MSI to the server — a dedicated Windows server, or a management server — and run it as an administrator.
- Accept the licence and choose the install folder.
- Give the wizard the management server and a service account — the account and its password, or a group managed service account with none. Leave the licence key blank.
- Let it finish. It installs any missing IIS features, starts the service, waits until Pulse has connected to SCOM, and opens the site.
Leave the licence key blank and a 30-day trial starts automatically. A key can be pasted in later from the License page; no restart needed.

Before you install
Pulse goes on one Windows server: a dedicated server or a management server. A dedicated server does not need the Operations console.
You will also need Windows Server 2016 or later, .NET Framework 4.6.2 or later, and a domain service account. Setup installs the IIS features if they are missing. Full requirements →

Do I need a licence key to start the SCOM Pulse trial?
No. Leave the licence key blank during setup and the 30-day trial starts automatically. There is no key to request and nothing to activate. A key can be pasted in later from the License page without restarting anything.
Where do I install SCOM Pulse?
On one Windows server: a dedicated server or a management server. A dedicated server does not need the Operations console. One wizard installs and configures it and opens Pulse in a browser. There is no additional software to install on monitored computers, and no separate database server to provision.
Is support included during the trial?
